Use your life to change someone else’s!
Imagine what a difference we can make having an entire year to devote to Language Bridges project. Thanks to Vodafone World of Difference Program now we can see that happen.
World of Difference 2010, a flagship programme of Vodafone Qatar, gave 4 passionate people the unique opportunity to work for a cause for one full year.
Language Bridges is one of the winning projects. It has a very simple aim: provide an English basic course to as many migrant workers as possible in the next 12 months. Classes take place, in the evenings and weekends, in labor camps or training facilities provided by host companies.
Our teachers are specially trained volunteers. Thanks to the amazing support and guidance of Dr Silvia Pessoa at Carnegie Mellon University, we currently have a team of 20 young volunteers, from 8 different countries, who are teaching over 120 students in 4 organizations.
From January 2011, we are looking to expand the program so that even more students get the chance to benefit from this great program.
If your organization would like to host one or more Language Bridges courses for your employees, get in touch and let’s see how we can work together! There is no cost for employers, and a lot of benefit to be gained!
If you are a fluent English speaker, and would like to have a rewarding and unforgettable experience as one of our volunteer teachers, let us know. Teaching experience isn’t necessary, just an open mind, and a desire to learn about those with a very different background and life experience from your own. You’ll be fully prepared and supported, and get the chance to make a difference to the lives of your students.
We have to appreciate about your contribution upon Nepalese people. I would like to give lots of thanks to Vodafone and language bridge course project together. At the same moment, I would like request to all the Nepalese people not to miss the golden opportunity to learn English and the safety rules /tips who are working in Doha Qatar. As I know, this opportunity is offered exactly free of cost and camp to camp visit procedure. It will be more beneficial to all the candidates who want to learn English language. Thanks

Can I ask you to drop me an email on World_of_Difference_jz@email.com, let me have details of how many employees might be interested; what type of work they do’ what their level of English is likely to b;, what days and times you could run the classes; and the location of your camp(s), we can start to work out how best we can work together. Kind regards,
